 Thanks for the laughs
Still getting used to my unit and was having trouble sleeping. I turned on my computer, came to this site and laughed so hard... sleep came easily afterwards
I know that I did silly things, but my memory is a big foggy mess.
Laughter is indeed the best medicine. THANKS... I needed this.

Here's another of mine...sold one of our cars...as the girl was driving off with it she threw on the brakes and backed up. My heart went in my mouth thinking something just broke down with the car....She rolled down the window and said "Thanks for the car...but I would feel much better if I gave you the $$ for it"

drove to school to pick up kids i'd already picked up,I did the instant coffee on cereal, (the flavored ones aren't bad on oat meal He, HE, HE,)paid for fast food , deli orders, went home without them, planted tomatoes twice, boiled several pans dry, forgot the tomatoes in the canner and couldn't figure out why the timer was going off.ate supper twice couldnt figure out why I was stuffed. many dr's appointments ,wrong time, wrong day, wrong town, wrong dr,Saying the samething over, and over, saying the samething, over and ,over, the list goes on and on. Some of them are pretty scary when you think about them.

I fell asleep waiting for my DME guy. My husband noticed this strange person staring at me for about 10 minutes. When I awoke, the guy says " just watching sleep apnea at work". It was my DME guy. I've done the leave my change at the checkout too many times to remember, I've lost my purse or wallet at least 7 times. I just pray that an honest person finds it, and I have gotten it back intact 6 out of 7 times. I always say that If the angels werent working overtime, I'd have been dead a long, long time ago. I used to walk into moving traffic , missing getting hit by inches. I stopped going out by myself for a long time because I was afraid I would forget my purse or debit card someplace, or get run over walking to the store. Some of your stories , though, make my life seem almost normal. But I have never driven a car, so I have never fallen asleep at the wheel, and I have worked from home mostly the last 5 years or so, or lived off of my little retirement account I had from when I did work , just cashed it in and took the penalty. I'm free to take a nap when I want to, so that keeps me from doing too many ditzy things from being overly tired. Virginia

Not a result of sleep apnea, but related to the subject.
When I went to the hospital for night one of my sleep study, the woman at hospital registration told me how to get to the sleep lab, which involved walking down a couple long hallways and taking an elevator. The sleep lab was to be right there upon exiting the elevator on the 6th floor.
The elevator doors opened on floor 6, and before I stepped off, I saw a man and woman standing at a glass wall, tapping on the glass and waving. I thought to myself, "Wow, friendly sleep lab. They let you bring visitors who watch you sleep while they wave at you. But why would you want to bring anybody, and why would anybody want to watch and wave at you while you sleep?"
It was the maternity ward. They were waving and tapping at babies on the other side of the glass. I had taken the wrong elevator.

Just thinking -- It's also not a good idea to keep your BenGay and Preparation H in the same drawer as your toothpaste

This would create two whole new products:
Ben H
Gay Preparation

I ain't touching that with a ten foot pole. But think, if you put Preparation H on your toothbrush, you'd could have a permanent pucker all day. Just to be clear--no typos in preceding sentence.

 That's a riot!!
And if you put Ben Gay on your toothbrush, you could use your tongue for hours without it cramping up (he said while looking for his toothbrush).
