Today, I tried to answer my phone with the television remote. Couldn't hear a thing. Never got a dial tone either.

Resurrectiong this...
New OOOPs... Long story short.. I microwaved an empty cup of coffee not too long ago..for 18 minutes.
Last Tuesday AM I locked my slef out of the house. I went onto the back porch to sip my coffee and watch the birds at the feeder..I had a white 'wife beater' type t-shirt on and white undies..no one can see me. But I locked the french door behind me with out thinking. I had to slip through the back yard to the neighbors and hid behind their bush until I got their attention from their back slider....and got the key to my house I had given them to use. Then I had to time it right to dodge to the front door and let myself back in.
AHHH, Brain Fog!

Let's see....I have gone to Wal Mart, gotten a basket, taken 2 steps and wondered what the heck I was there for. Walked around the store trying to remember, couldn't so put the basket up and left. I have driven right past my childs school when going to drop her off. Looked at her and said, guess I was taking you to work with me. Have tried to put the hand mixer away in the refrigerator, the milk in the microwave. But I think the best, or worst, however you want to look at it, I gave one of my house plants a big 'ol drink of 409! Dinner anyone?

My son suffered from my mental fog. He wanted a cup of milk for his nap. I gladly gave him his sippy of milk, but had forgotten to put the lid on it. Nothing like a cold splash of milk all over a bare tummy before a nap!

Anyone here have problems with words sounding fine to you when you say them but then you get an odd look? My husband has heard me say such things as "coff of cuppee" and "breaded butter". He just shakes his head and sighs. LOL

I do that all of the time. I tell my family " listen to what I think, not what I say." Virginia

I have to search for words to use in replacement. Yes, I say things that didn't come out right..I have/had (just moved) a neighbor that started a rumor that I was drunk because I get tongue tied and often slur my words..and I am not a drinker! I am drunk on fatigue!

I have that. Also, I will say somethinig that makes perfect sense to me, but get "the look" from whoever I was talking to. When I ask they tell me I said used one or two words that made no sense with what I was trying to say. In other words, I thought I said one word, but an entirely different word came out of my mouth and I had no clue.

A few weeks ago I went to get the bathroom trash to empty it..it was full to the brim with "unflushable" items. I took it, opened the lid to the potty, dumped it in and flushed...then tried flushing again as the water was rising... DH had to snake the potty.

You mean trying to find your glasses when they've been on top of your head the entire time?
And there are the times of me going into another room and then asking "Why did I come in here?"
Talk about brain farts!

I left my sister and her son at Mount Rushmore, had to go back and get them when my grandson said " Gramma wheres missy & bobby?" Had to pay the $10.00 admissions fee again too.
