Post Dental devices, surgery, other options ...
Hi,

After being on the APAP for 2 weeks I got my results and my doctor called to go over them and see how everything is going.  I told him there was a lot of improvement in how I have been feeling but some nights are better than others.  Then he said that "we can look at other options like dental devices and surgery because my sleep apnea is so mild but right now there is no point stopping using the CPAP."  I guess I am wondering if dental devices work if I have mild sleep apnea (7 events per hour).  Can someone suggest any website where I can begin to look into this or am I wasting my time?  From what I have read the surgery is not worth it and doesn't have a very good success rate and the only real solution is a CPAP machine.  Am I right?  I guess I want to know from other experienced users if CPAP is the only solution.  I really don't mind using it but if I had some other choice than having to wear this mask then it might be worth looking into.

Thanks!

Wendy
