I was planning on doing a full face mask, but I tried them on at my doctor's office and they were just too much for me. Maybe I'll try a humidifier. Does adjusting the humidifier on the CPAP normally help or am I wasting my time on that? How much should I adjust it? I have mine on 2.0.
It does help, but occasionally I would have used a higher setting if there was one. It took me awhile to get used to the ff mask. I had to take an over the counter sleep aid to help me relax. I started by watching tv with it, then short sleeps. But the first time I slept for 6 hours straight I was motivated to keep trying as I felt so much better. As I began to trust it more the better it has become. But it was a baby step process. I have been at this since this past Dec. I have seen other suggestions on here, such as nasal rinse before bed. I could not get used to that myself, but others say it works good for them. Also taking a decongestant may help. Hope you find your solution.
