Post How to access menu on Resmed Compact S8 to see how I'm doing
I have a Resmed Compact S8 cpap and I wanted to access the readout menu to see how I'm doing, if I'm getting leaks, etc.

Could someone tell me how to access it?  I was told by another member that if I posted the info, someone might be able to help.

I especially want to see how I did last night because I'm feeling horrible today.  My cat just died on Sunday, so that may be a big part of it though :(

Thank you.

Do not think that model will give you anything but hours used.

I thought it did because I know someone who has the same machine and she said that her doctor told her that he could tell that she wasn't using it for 5 hours per night.  Unless he divided something to find that out.

Sharbysyd,

This unit only reports on days and hours of use. If you want a machine that will show how your therapy is working you will need to ask for a fully data capable machine. if you have had your cpap less than thirty days you may be able to exchange it like  did with mine. I have a ResMed Elite II which is giving me my number daily.

Oh, well, that's too bad.  Unfortunately, I bought it for cash, used, and it was several months ago. Thanks for the help though.

Taz is correct the Resmed S8 Compact and S8 Escape and S8 Escape II are capabLe of reporting compliance data only. Compliance data being the number of hours used, numbeR of nights used. Be rest assurred tho, theY provide excellent therapy, every bit as good therapy as the fully data capable xPAPS.
