A CPAP Christmas
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house
My Cpap was humming, quiet as a mouse.
The hose hung above my bed with care,
in hopes it won't snag and give me a scare.
My children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of a rested Dad danced in their heads;
And mamma slept soundly, no more snores in the night,
but the cat was a bit nervous at the unusual sight.
The contraption was strange but marvelous too,
cause it kept me breathing all night, right on cue.
No gasping, no panting, no yearning for air,
I slept like a baby, with hardly a care.
I awoke the next morning, what a wonderful day!
and woke up my kids with a jolly "hey hey hey!"
The trees and the presents, what a merry sight;
Happy Christmas to all, cause I had a great night!
