Devilbiss APAP - how to retrieve data?

Post Devilbiss APAP - how to retrieve data?
I just traded in my standard Intellipap CPAP machine as it only collected minimal compliance info.
I read on the this forum the *APAP* Intellipap  is fully data capable and requested the switch. Request finally granted. Am I missing some instructions? I don't see how one obtains data out of the machine. I thought there was supposed to be a code one could use to access data on a secure web site? How is this done? Manual mentions nothing to do with the SmartLink.
Thanks!

I bought the software and a data collection module that connects to the back of the machine; the data is collected on an SD card that is inserted into the module and the card is read on a PC using the Devilbiss software.

Bearded One - thanks for the reply. I have a module on the back end (SmartLink) with the card.
Is there no way to go online to read the results? I'd thought there was a post somewhere online to that effect... that you could obtain a code number and avoid the software, reading directly online? I have a Mac and although I suppose could purchase software to run Windows on this Mac, I'd obviously rather not go to that expense, as I don't have any other need for PC software.

I found an Intellipap site and apparently there are firmware updates... but I don't know what my Intellipap is using now. Mine is a model DV54D.
It sounds as if SmartCode Report Generator is an online data source for patients, but I can't figure out what I need to do to access it:
on the Intellipap site: "To use this report generator, you must first contact the patient and ask them to retrieve the SmartCode from their DV51 or DV54 CPAP. Simply call the patient and ask them to turn on their device and press the left arrow once. Once you have collected the desired code(s) they can be de-coded using this report generator...."
I turned mine on and pressed the left arrow once, per instructions above, and didn't get any number code, just the normal ....WAIT : I did it again and I got it!!!! It just "went by" too fast the first time.
Got the code and went to the online generator, and....  it works!!!
I can see graphs for "Percentile Pressure" (separate bars for 90th and 95th percentile), "Apnea/Hypopnea Index", "Pressure Plateau Time", "High Peak Flow Time (>95L/Min)", "Non-Responding Event Index", "Exhale Puff Index".
Since I've only used it one night, I can't tell too much yet, but ....AT LAST.... once I learn what everything means, I'll finally learn what's going on during my sleep!
Very relieved I don't have to buy any software. In the future I'll be able to see weekly, monthly, etc. graphs. So nice to have feed-back!  Wonder how this is all happening as the machine isn't connected to my computer? Pretty cool..... Can download my info as a PDF!
I'm a happy camper.

OK, I am totally amazed and freaked.  I found my IntelliPAP codes and put them into the web-site fields too and generated a report.  How does it do that if it isn't hooked to the computer???  My AHI is a little high, hummm.

OK, I get it now.  I read that:

"SmartCode uses a proprietary encryption method that allows summary therapy and device usage data to be compressed into onboard codes that are displayed on the IntelliPAP display panel."

In other words
Data is simply converted to code.  For a completely theoretical example, say  the pressure that is the 95% pressure is 12.  Then the number 12 is give an encrypted codevalue.  When you put in the code at the website, it decodes the encryption and generates th report.  So as long as we have access to the website, then we can decode the data and generate reports.

Post 2 questions re Intellipap APAP
Vicki, or anyone with the Intelipap -- have you been able to get more than one-day results ?
It would be nice to get the week's results, etc.

Also, I never see mine going above the minimal pressure setting... Shouldn't I see some variation as it's an APAP?

Can one change the minimal setting?

Thanks for any thoughts.
