Post Where to sell used CPAP
Hi,
I am wondering if anyone knows where I can sell my used CPAP machine.  I thought I could on ebay, but it turns out they dont allow it.  I only used it for a month, before I decided to get the surgery. Since the surgery has helped me tremendously, I have waited a year and am now deciding to sell it, but not sure where I can.

I have the Resmed Elite S8 and the HumidAire 3i.

Any help would be appreciated.

Brian

Brian, BEFORE you sell that Resmed S8 Elite w/EPR and Humidaire 3i have you had a sleep evaluation study since the surgery? If so how SOON after surgery? Which surgery did you have? W/o a new sleep study you really have no way of knowing for sure that you no longer need that Elite.

I did have a follow up study about 6 months after the surgery, and all seems to be going well.

The surgery I had was the removal of Tonsils, adnoids and the PPP.

You can donate it to www.awakeinamerica.org which has a supply program for those who cannot afford sleep studies and PAPs.  Also some local hospitals or sleep labs have donation programs for the same thing.

But you might want to hang onto it awhile longer and make a decision to donate it after you have had a followup sleep study one year post op.  For many people, it takes awhile for the tissues to settle into whatever state they will be.
