I recently got a new hybrid mask and my question is when they fitted the mask to me I felt alot of air going down my nose-I've used the mask for a couple of nights now and don't feel that air--it seems to work fine, no leaks and numbers are good. Should i be feeling alot of air pressure going down my nose--or do I somehow have the nasal cushions tweeked so the airflow is cut off??--or is this all normal??  it seems I'm breathing fine and have lots of pressure of course on my mouth piece. Thanks

when you have the mask on and you close your mouth is it easy to breath with the machine on?  I know when I used the hybrid and the liberty masks I did not notice any real gushing of air in my nose, you might want to try moving the nasal pillows a litte with the machine on  and see if you feel it leaking allot, then you know the air is going through It does souund pretty normal to me though! Yeah when i move the pillows i definiately have a gush of air so it's there--and I have no problem breathing out nose or mouth! so it must be working ok then! I think i've just found my mask! wow! I really like it. and i didn't think i would!

I used the Hybrid for over a year an a half, then I let my beard grow out and I started using the Liberty, but I had to modify it to keep the nasal pillows in place with my high pressures! Then just  a little over two months ago I found the perfect mask for me the Respironics FitLife full face mask! Talk about comfortable and I get the lowest leak rate that I have ever gotten! it goes from, the forehead down to between the lower lip and the chin. Anyway It works really well for me! I am glad you like the Hybrid, I always thought it was much more comfortable than the liberty mask but because of the chin piece and my long whiskers it just didn't work well for me!  I am glad you like the mask and it is working well for you!......White Beard
