Post Alternatives for CPAP 
Has anyone tried a mouthpiece or chin strap instead of going straight to the CPAP?

I've met a lot of people who have tried the alternatives. It's sort of like putting a bandaid on a broken leg...it may give you a sense of being treated but doesn't really do a blessed thing for the condition. It WILL put off the inevitable and delay effective treatment for as long as you're satisfied with feeling like !@#!. If you are dead set on avoiding CPAP you can always opt for the tracheostomy, but it's literally and figuratively a real pain.

Post CMV operator or Pilot? 
Are you a commercial motor vehicle operator  aka truck driver    or Pilot?

If yes then are regulatory issues with your medical certification using dental appliances or surgery.
