 Daytime Cover For CPAP Machine
Does anyone know of where I could get a cover for my CPAP machine during the day when it's not in use? I have a couple of cats and don't really want cat hair all over my machine. Plus, who wants dust on their CPAP? Right now I am just placing a towel over it during the day, but that looks awful. I suppose I could beg my wife to sew a "CPAP Cozy", kind of like they have for kitchen appliances and sewing machines, but it would be a lot easier just to buy one.

Did you not get a nice carry bag with your machine. They are ideal for storage during the day.
If you didn't get one, get on to your DME supplier and demand one. They should come (free) with cpap machines.
Daniel.

Yes. My ResMed S8 Elite came with a wicked cool blue bag, but you have to take the humidifier and the CPAP apart to fit in the bag. I was really just looking for something I could quickly throw over the top of the units put together.

I think you should go back to your DME supplier and tell them that you want a bag that takes the equipment, as set up. They have loads of different bags and should be able to supply you with one that's big enough. Your S8 Elite, fully assembled, would easily fit an S7 bag or similar...........One up for the consumers

I actually found that on Ebay, and think it's really cool, except it's got cutouts so that you can operate it with the cover on. For me, I want something to cover it completely when it's not in use. When it's in use I don't want it covered at all. Thanks for the find though! I appreciate your help!

You might try a toaster oven cover. I've seen them in catalogs like Lillian Vernon, Miles Kimball, etc. (or try them online). Another thought is a large men's boot shoe box covered in wrapping paper.

I purchased my last appliance covers at the Dollar Tree. I would check there and Wally World. I bet that one of them has the size that you need.

I've got one of those bedside tables that you put together and put a floor length table cloth over. I keep the CPAP machine on the stabilizing shelf under the table top. During the day it is totally hidden from view, dust and my kitties!

I don't know of any type of "cozy" or cover. You could use a blanket or bath towel, or if your device came with a carrying bag, put it in the bag. Make sure you read your device's manual to see when you should change your filter, if you have one, and most devices do. You can usually get a new filter from your DME. Some require washing, most require being replaced every 4-6 months.
The only other thing I can think of, is I have a Kitchenaid mixer. It has a cover that is kind of cone-shaped. It might work for a CPAP. You can always have a friend/spouse sew a cover that would custom-fit. Just be sure you don't put it over any intake or filters so that it stops working during the night.
