I have been on the nose mask for 7 night's,it seem's i am taking two step's forward then a
step back,all in all I am very optimistic,my question is i have picked up a cold the last few
day's,last night when i was half awake i got a jolt in my nose it felt like when you take a good whiff of ammonia,is this something any one else has had happen?

Hi JIm,

I wouldn't be too concerned about it.  It was probably just the air pressure opening a sinus or moving stuff up there around.  See if it happens again once your cold is gone.

Jim,

If you have a head cold, I suggest you phone your sleep clinic for advice on whether to use cpap or not. In some cases the pressured air can drive 'gunge' into your ear canals and may have to be cleaned out by an ENT.
