Post Forehead spacer/cushion thingee
I've been a hose head for over 6 months now (1000+ hours logged!) and my first device failure occurred. The forehead gelcap rest became disconnect from the thing it is seated on. I figure this must be normal wear and tear. I have 2 questions:

1) What is the average life span for that piece based on your experiences?

2) In the reorder parts book it shows something like "Gelcap forehead spacer" and you can order one at a time. Right below it, it has "Foam forehead spacer" and it comes in packs of 5. The book is at home, but this is as close as I remember. Is that Foam thing simply an alternate version of the GEL spacer? If it is, can anyone offer any comments about the differences, life expectancy, etc?

Thanks in advance!

What kind of mask do you have?  In the meantime, a cottom ball put there, or taped with soft medical tape if you want to make sure it stays, works well until you get a replacement.
