Post Finally got some answers
I finally seem to have a good answer of what is going on and in all it's good news! I went on Wednesday to see a Neurospecialist and it was like seeing the House from TV. I saw four different doctors who did all kinds of tests on me for the first three hours and then in the last twenty minutes my specialist came in and told me what the deal was.

He said that I am suffering from three major things that he feels if addressed might quite possibly help get rid of my other things. I will say this about Dr. Texido he is a very confident to the point of being arrogant but everything he has said has come true so far. Anyhow he comes in a says THIS is your problems. Not this is what I think etc.... The first issue is that my sleep apnea had gotten worse and it is causing me to have migraine headaches. I told him that yes I have had a headache off and on for two years now but they lasted for about a week and then would go away but I would never call them a migraine. He told me that they are called "Silent Migraines" which are caused by the build up of C02 in my system from my sleep apnea. He even said I know you have a headache right now(which I did) and he said this is causing the confusion, sleepiness, nausea, moodiness, and low testosterone levels. He also said that my family more than likely has a history of migraine to which I told him he was wrong.(after i got home i called my mother and found out that my grandmother use to sleep on the bathroom floor because of her migraines) He said that my blurry vision was from this also and that since I just had a new sleep test last week it showed i needed a change in my settings and a new machine because my old one was never calibrated in five years and he feels that the setting is off slot. Also these headcases is one of the causes of my vertigo he said its called MAV Migraine Associated Vertigo and the treatment is a new CPAP machine and a medicine called nortriptyline.

The second issue is that I have BPV which is Begin Positional Vertigo which is something about the rocks in my ears are off the hairs. More would be explained when I return in three weeks to meet a a Dr. Green for treatment. And the last thing is that I have hearing loss in my right ear but my left ear is the worse off. In fact he said I will be legally deaf in my left ear by the time i am 50. He said that my depression and High Blood pressure can be a result of the things that I have going on and that he should be able to have me cured in 9-12 months and that hopefully the other issues will either go away or get better.

Congratulations gipperm on finding your answers!

I too suffer from migraine headaches.  I just had my sleep study last Thursday and will not meet with sleep doctor until next week.  I am on pins and needles waiting for my results.  It was not until I started reading this forum that I realized the connection with Sleep Apnea and migraines.  I only have migraines upon waking (usually 2:00 a.m. or 3:00 a.m.).  One is never initiatied while I am awake.

The tech at the sleep study told me that I had Sleep Apnea events, but calmmed up when questioned further.  I am almost hoping for the CPAP.  I want an end to being sleepy all the time and the blasted migraines (17 - 20 a month).

Thanks for the information on it being a build up of C02.  That makes sense in my case IF I do indeed have SA.  Is the medicine nortriptyline for the migraines or the vertigo?  I do not have vertigo associated with my migraines.

I have sleep in the bath tub and on the bath room floor becasue of migranes, I have hard to control hypertension, and I am anxiously awaiting the CPAP arrival and the possibility of a miracle.  Good luck, I will be thinking about you over the next year while I am awaiting CPAP effects.

I am still suffering from daytime tiredness so now on the 31st I am going for another sleep test where I bring my CPAP but I have to stay at the lab the next day.  Anyone ever done this?

I suffered from this after a car accident a few years ago.  It's true - basically the rocks in your ears have come off their foundation. If I remember correctly, the "rocks" have to do with your equillibrium and the fine hairs in your middle ear contain a jello like substance where these crystals hang.  When they are shaken from this substance, they "float" around in your middle ear, which in my case, caused severe dizziness, blackouts if I turned my head too far, and headaches.
Went to a specialist and it's amazing that with some gentle repositioning head movements, she was able to get my crystals back where they belonged and they have stayed there ever since.  Quite amazing.  Most people only have it in 1 ear, but I was one of the lucky ones to have it in both.
Not sure if you've been to a specialist about it yet, but there is hope!
