Post Prayers
Well on Sunday it appears that my mom had a massive stroke.  They had her on a ventilator against her wishes, but that was corrected today.  They are currently giving her palliative care, but the prognosis is days to hours.  They are keeping her comfortable, and she at least is not in pain.  Please pray for her and our family.

Mike,

Your mom, you and your family are in my thoughts and heart.  Being mortal and breakable really sucks.  I am glad for everyone that your mom is being kept comfortable.  If I can do anything at all for you, let me know.

Vicki

Mom rallied a bit this morning,  she was sitting up and talking to my brother and I, and now she is back to barely able to talk and disoriented.  Please continue to keep us in prayers...

Well she is still hanging on, had a very difficult time with hospice (they were NOT controlling her pain) and now they have finally gotten a central line back in her to administer morphine so at least she is comfortable again.  Thanks again for all the prayers and well wishes, there are tougher days ahead as she is drifting in and out of consciousness, but with god's help we will get through this.
