I have read somewhere that there exists an accessory that allows you to secure your CPAP air tube to your headboard. It will even rotate with you as you turn in bed at night. Does anyone know where I can find such an accessory? I have looked at many web sites but found nothing like it. Help!
Hi,
I have never come accross a custom built device, but there are many DIY efforts reported.
Most common appears to be a 6" nail or piece of lat, fixed to protrude from the head board. Attach to this some string and wrap a large rubber band, or piece of elastic round the hose and attach to the string. Adjust for height. Some people have used swivels and the like also. The elastic/rubber band will ensure a certain amount of free movement (required when you move from side to side) while ensuring that the hose is suspended above you.
Earlier masks, like the ResMed Mirage (don't know if it is still made) had a tape to secure the hose to your mask straps.
