Any one been out on a ride yet? While the weather guy says we are down 10.5" of rain it would be hard to prove it by me. I wish the rain would clear out so we can actually go for a ride. My wife would really like to go for a long ride down the coast.

I'm new to the group. Been on CPAP for a week now. I've got a 91 Gold Wing SE and a Yamaha 650 Maxim. Been riding for 45 years or so. When I'd doze off and snap my head awake, I though it was just boring scenery. Now I know it was my apnea.
Used to ride from SE Wisconsin to Americade and do other camping in the mountains. Haven't done any for some years now. Have a dog (Siberian Husky) that looks at me with those blue eyes anytime I want to go for a ride and I usually end up taking him to the dog park instead. Oh yeah, he usually would lay on my bed until I began snoring. Now with the CPAP he doesn't want any part of it. I'm glad that it's a lot quieter than expected. I can still hear him when he needs to step outside for a break.
I've been thinking about maybe finding a URAL with a sidecar so I can take him on some rides when I just gotta ride. I'm not ready to put one on the Wing. I still like cutting the curves.

Well summer seems to have finally gotten to where I live here in Oregon. We had a few days that were nice but it would go right back to cool and wet. Now it looks like we have a couple of weeks worth of nice weather.
Haven't had the chance to do any long rides yet. Have only done about a 200 mile day which is not to far. Hopefully me and the wife will be off for a long trip here soon. I got my radio and the Wing modified this year for an iPod. Really great using an iPod Nano on the bike. Any one else get out for a long ride?

Hi all, new here, not even "diagnosed" yet! Sleep study to be scheduled, SOON I hope!
Here is my ride,
sbukosky, if you see me around town, WAVE! 2 Ural sidecar rigs in the area, if I see one with a Husky and a GPS, I'll know it's you!
That's if you have gotten your Ural!
I wave at everyone!
Having too much fun on my current ride to shop for another but the Ural and a Beemer have caught my eye as well as a Victory Vegas 8-Ball.

Hey katiebugg, nice work! Love the koi on the tank, reminds me of some tats I've seen! Dragon and tiger on the fender look good as well!
I've got my eye on an '08 Vegas Eight Ball at a local dealer. Funds say no way!
Don't give up on your dream/idea of painting bikes! When the time comes, it'll happen.
Chin up, keep up with your skills, enjoy the ride!

Katiebugg great paint job. Very well done. I have a friend who paints bikes. However his main business has been to paint classic cars as well. Business has been a little slow with the down turn but has not completely gone away. You may want to consider painting cars as well as bikes till the business can run on just bikes. I have an '07 fatboy. I haven't been on it in almost a year because I was planning on selling it. Unfortunately the resale has fallen quite a bit so now I think I'm going to try and pay it off and keep it so I'm looking forward to register and insure it in the fall :)
Nice Victory, Katiebugg :)

I'll jump in on this thread....rides me a 09' HD Street Glide. Love this machine--traded in Road King Custom for it and don't regret it one bit. I never thought I would need a stereo on a motorcycle, but I wouldn't own another one without.

We just finished our annual oyster feed and campout at Long Beach WA. Had a great turn out for the economy being so bad. We a nine more people than in 2008. A really great group of people came for it and it was alot of fun. We also had really great weather. Had a little rain on Friday night but that was it. Otherwise it was clear and warm the whole weekend. It was a really great time. Hope everyone is enjoying these last few weeks of summer and the change over to fall. Getting ready for cooler temperatures where I live. Already starting to cool down.

 V-Max 1200
So I am told most people with sleep apnea die in car and bike wrecks. They go to sleep at the wheel.

I can show you how to train a dog to ride the tank while tied to you with safty belt and harness. My dog can even ride in the dirt on my dirt bike and you can't throw the dog off. Set up cost $45.00.

Just joined the forum tonight, so I'll jump in as well. I ride a 2000 Kawasaki ZRX1100. I live in the foothills of NC, not far from Boone. We have some really great road and scenery here, but I don't get to ride as much as I would like. Family is first and riding is second. Anyway, here is a pic of me and my REX.

Katiebugg,
I have a tank you can paint, rather on this V-Max its the air cover. What do you charge? I also have 17 cars you can paint if you want to put yourself in the public eye I can get you there.
