Is there any connection between sleepwalking and sleep apnea?

Don't think so. Never heard of one.

OSA is a respiratory sleep disorder............sleepwalking (I believe) is neuro based.

My kids and my sister have told me I sleepwalk too!  They say they have seen me wake up and do things around the house, like cleaning, talking on the phone, etc.  I have no memory of doing so the next day.  I have noticed that if I take Ambien to help me sleep sometimes, they say I have been seen sleepwalking and doing starnge things, like trying to put the iron in the refrigerator!  Once when I was 20, I remember being awakened by a box a Tide laundry soap dumped in my hair!  I had been in my bathroom around two o'clock in the morning, standing in the closet, reaching for the laundry soap.  I was asleep!  When I woke up, I was covered in powdered detergent! There are other times when people say they have called me when I was asleep, and I talked with them, yet I do not remember doing so.  I have not mentioned this to anyone, as I have enough going on already.  I don't really know either, if there is any connection between sleep apnea and sleepwalking.  I have a hunch that OSA may have more of a neurological component than we presently know.  Lantern4life

I will carry on a phone conversation...or conversation with my husband and not know it.  I also talk in my sleep.  There are many sleep disorders...with sleep apnea being part of them...but SA is classified as sleep disordered breathing.
