Humidifer "Warmup" - How Does That Work?

Post Humidifer "Warmup" - How Does That Work?
I have my humidifier set for a 10-minute "warmup."  I put water into my water container and place it in the humidifier.  I snap the cover shut.  Nothing seems to happen.  I haven't turned the unit on yet - I have just put the water container in and snapped the humidifier cover shut.

I come back 15 minutes later.  It still says 10 minute warmup.  The water is the same temp it was when I put it in there.

What triggers the "warmup" to start?  Do I have to push a button somewhere?

I believe the words "warm up" are next to a button/ above/below.  When you press the associated button, the screen shows something like "Humidifier warming"  The only time I ever used it, was in the winter, when the water was truly cold, and the room was cold.  I didn't want cold air blowing in my nose and lungs then.

Since putting this thread up, I did a little search and found another thread from long ago where it says that if you punch the right arrow button, it starts the warmup process going.

I don't know.  I'll give it a shot when I get home tonight.  BTW - tonight might be my last night for nasal pillows.  I go tomorrow to try out a nasal mask.
