Post Runny nose and nasal 'tickle', but only with mask!
It's my 7th night with my mask (nasal pillow type: Swift LT for Her) and suddenly my nose is running like crazy.
No runny nose prior to putting on mask.
I can't suddenly be allergic can I? I've been using the mask while on laptop prior to turning out the light, but I keep having to take it off to blow my nose.
Finally kept it off and all symptoms stopped.
There is no moisture inside the nasal thing or hoses, so it's not condensation.
Has anyone else had this?
Is it safe to fall asleep (if I can) with these symptoms ?

Have you washed the cushions and headgear?  If so, what did you use?  Have you changed what you wash your face with?  Do you normally have seasonal allergies?  Changed pillows/sheets/ other new materials or carpets in the bedroom?

Thanks for reply, but nothing gives a clue. Only rinsed cushions, nothing changed with face wash. No seasonal allergies, haven't changed anything in bedroom linens.
Oddly, I was bothered for about three hours with the runny nose, but kept putting the mask back on. Eventually I was able to sleep through the night -- as if the air dried my hose out. Now I'm wondering if the nasal passages are simply irritated. I've been using only pass-over humidification, so will put the heater on low tonight and see if that's better.
Thank you.

Your runny nose and tickle sounds exactly how my nose feels when I have no, or not enough humidity.  I think turning the humidifier on or up should help you a lot.
