I've recently tried the OptiLife nasal cradle cushion. Unfortunately, my sleep doctor ordered some pressure changes on my bi-level and I had to resort to my usual mask as we sorted thru the various pressure adjustments.
I rather like the OptiLife nasal cradle cushion. My main problem was that I need to use a chin strap. The chin cradle on the OptiLife I am assuming was intended more as a stabilizer for the mask and headgear than as a chin strap. It certainly is not successful for me for use as a chin strap. As soon as we get this bi-level settings and options where they need to be I'm gong back to the OptiLife to try the nasal pillows AND probably go back to the nasal cradle cushion and perhaps dismantling, removing the chin cradle.
I like that the nasal cradle cushion does NOT sit on the bridge of the nose, I like that it fits low on the nose covering almost only the nose tip. It did "seem" like I was getting more pressure w/the nasal cradle cushion than I was w/my regular Simplicity simple nasal cushion. And moreso than w/the Swift LT for Her nasal pillows I had tried just before trying the OptiLife nasal cradle cushon. Almost like I could have dropped my pressure by 1/2 or 1 cm.
Do be sure to try it, you may well like it!!!
