Mojo Gel Cushion Full Face Mask

I have had this face mask and it felt good at first but it is very cheaply made. I called to complain ( this is the second mask of this kind that I have had) and the woman told me that it is not a good quality mask. I only wipe it clean with clean wipes and the gel cushion peels off VERY easily. I always have to get crazy glue to glue it back on and then if it is off a little the plastic underneath hurts the bridge of my nose. The gel cushions push into my eyes and make them itch but the worst part is that little blue nose adjustment dial, while very useful, it falls out several times a week and good luck trying to find it!

I have used this mask for a year and a half and never had the gell cushion fall off.  What kind of wipes are you using.  The only wipes I know of that you can safely use on a mask are the CPAP wipes, designed just for CPAP masks.  As for the dial, I set it near the top of the screw, with a little bit of the screw left showing.  I do this with the mask off, and then leave it there and have had no problems with this.  The only problems I have had are with the plastic piece that holds in the connector to the mask, and once the gel cushion came apart at the seams allowing the gel to leak out.  It often breaks a little earlier than the 6 months allowed, but my last one lasted for over 7 months. And when it does break early, my supplier returns it to the manufacturer as defective and gives me a free mask.
As for the gel part getting into your eyes, you need to squeeze the mask together at the nose while you are wearing it.  The mask is flexible and will remold to just at your nose so it does not stick out so far.

How well does this mask handle jaw drop?

Since I put the straps on the bottom on fairly tight, I have not had problems with jaw drop.  I have a chin strap, but I do not use it.

i simply clean it with a plain water damp wipe. The gel part always peels off of the plastic for me. The Homemedics place told me that many people complain about that and the dial falling off. The dial fell off twice last night ! I have to screw the dial way down to make it very tight against my face around the top or else it leaks terribly. I guess different facial structures affect it differently. I do pinch the top of the mask closer together to get the gel part out of my eyes but then it makes it harder for me to breathe and it irritates the bridge of my nose. That part is easier to deal with since I can put something on my nose to stop that. I have very oily skin, and clean it throughly but that should not errode the gel shield since the glue seal where it attaches does not touch my skin. I sleep on  my side so maybe the friction on the pillow roughs it up, but either way, I have had it. The next one I get will be a different type that fits me better around the face but it was more expensive. I will opt for that one next time regardless.
Glad the mask is working for you. Gel does feel comfy.

That is probably the problem.  Your pillow should not be touching the mask.  You need to sleep with your head only half on the pillow so that the front part of your head is hanging in space.  Touching the pillow with the mask causes leaks and that is probabaly why you had to make the mask so tight.  There are also cpap pillows available to help with sleeping with your face off of the pillow.  Sleeping on your side is the best position for sleep apnea so congratulations on doing so.  Try sleeping with your face off the pillow and I am sure you will be doing much better.
