Post FISHER-PAYKEL 432 MASK EXPERIENCES
I just switched to a Fisher-Paykel 432 mask yesterday 7/24.  My first night was rough.  I awoke frequently, and the mask kept leaking.  My son says i was sleepwalking-he said I ate a snack, talked on the phone, used the computer, and I was up walking around.  He told me he heard a clicking sound, and then I was groaning.  I do remember waking up once, uncomfortable, 'foggy feeling' and the mask was off!  I never take off my mask!

I got up this morning, so unrefreshed, and with a terrible headache.  I have had headaches and severe fatigue every day this week.  I have not felt good for a single day.  I jut contacted another doctor for a second opinion.  I am waiting to hear from my PCP for insurance authorization and referral for another sleep study.  It has been 5 months-I felt much better for the first month, then lousy, then a little better, now lousy for about 6-8 weeks now.  I am able to consciously sleep some-not waking up gasping , but all symptoms have returned, and the fatigue has become progressively worse.  Who has FP432 and has it helped you?  Maybe I am doing something wrong, or maybe it takes time.  Lantern4life

I use a FP432. I used to have a large FP431. When I switched to a large FP432, I found it was a touch too small. I just got an extra-large FP432 yesterday and I already slept better with it. But, I will be trying it out for the next week before I decide which way I want to go.

When you use the FP432, make sure the mask fits like the yellow card that comes with mask tells you it should. If not, the mask will not work well.
