Post what drug is the best for plmd? 
my apnea's are only 7.4 tried requip am on mirapex but i'm sleepy during the day
can anyone help?
and should i seek a new dr?

I read that if you have PLMD or RLS, you should get your iron levels checked before resorting to parkinsons drugs such as mirapex. Low iron levels decreases dopamine levels and is said to be fairly common in PLMD/RLS patients. Many docs will skip checking your iron levels and go straight to the parkinsons meds.

Key test for iron deficiency is a ferritin test.

I had all of the deciciency tests and the only thing that was off was the salt
it was low which is real wierd because i'm over weight and don't watch my salt
the mirapex gives me daytime tiredness and the requip had other side effects
does anyone have anything else i should try?
