TO help stop leaks?? I feel like my lack of improvement could be due to my mouth opening.

Cloth medical tape hurts a lot less! Yes , I tried it , Took off a layer of skin. really stings when you sweat., I thought my dh was going to have a heart attack he laughed so hard.

Hello David 25.  I am a mouth taper also.  I got really tired of waking with a horribly dry mouth and the chin straps I have tried have not been helpful.  I use the 3M cloth tape.  I take three pieces of tape - each piece should be about 3 1/2 inches long.  I layer them so they overlap and create a rectangle.  I then take another piece of tape and put it on the inside (sticky side) so that when I put that part over my lips, there isn't sticky tape against my lips.  I make sure I use plenty of lip balm also.  However, the most important part of this is to make sure to have a gripper piece on one side.  If you need to get the tape off your mouth quickly, you won't be able to unless you make sure you have a piece that won't be stuck down and will help you to get the entire thing off without having to scrape it off.  I hope this made sense.  Good luck!
