I am newly diagnosed and when I got my CPAP, I got information on sleep apnea from the supplieer.  It included an ASAA Education Bulletin which states that you should sleep with your head aligned to your body so as to avoid gas in the stomach.  It says that too high pillows can cause your head to roll at an angle. Also, BiPAP and C-Flex were recommended.

Post New to group too
I'm new to CPAP to within the last 2 months.  I also have been stuggling with aerophagia.  I'm so grateful for this group as my Respiratory Therapist said he has only seen this in people who have a high pressure.  He didn't give me much info and I've been suffering with it.  After reading the posts here, I adjusted my machine (learned this as well from this group, Thank you!) by lowering the EPR a notch and I seem to be getting some relief.  It's not perfect, but it's a little better. Thanks so much for all your input!
