Hello everyone.  I just happened upon this forum by chance, and thought I would take the opportunity to get some help from you if you don't mind.  

I want to find the best machine to use while travelling; I'm tired of lugging my large bedside unit around with me, and I have heard there are much smaller units available.  Because I travel a lot, and sometimes even sleep in my Yukon when fishing in multi-day bass tournaments, I need a small unit that is also durable; and works off of all voltages including 12v.  I also use it during international travel.

It doesn't have to have any other bells and whistles...I use a straight pressure of 8.  

It would be nice to have as a spare also; I have gotten so used to using the machine that I can't sleep without it anymore.  What do you all do when you find yourself away from home and your machine gets broken or lost by an airline?

I recently got a goodnight 420G, its cheap and basic, fixed pressure only and no humidifier
puritan bennett tyco make which is small and will run on 12V DC , but I got it mailly because it was cheap, there are other small CPAPs available that are designed for travellers

Thanks, Lynn for the information.  Hopefully some others will chime in on recommendations.  Which unit on the market is the smallest and lightest?

look up CPAP for sale on google, they keep getting smaller and lighter
