I am told to only use distilled water in the Humidifier.  However what would adding a small amount of mint  flavoring to the water?  Or perhaps dap of scope or  your favorite mouthwash..  d'oh!

I wouldn't add anything to your water tank unless you want these products down in your lungs.  That's not something I would want!  Instead, there are some members that use different aromatherapy products on the outside of their machines (not in the tank).  If you do a search on this board you will find many posts on this subject.

Except while cleaning, the only thing that should ever go into your humidifier is water.

If you want to add a scent, you could put a few drops of essential oil on a folded tissue and set it in a tray or dish on the nightstand next to your CPAP machine.  Make sure that the essential oil is a botanical extract and that it is not artificial.
