Hi all,

I am new to this forum and to using a CPAP machine.  I have been using it for exactly 7 night now.  I have a Fisher and Paykel sleepstyle 234 machine that has Ambient Tracking Plus.  

The first 2 night I used this machine I awoke to there still be half the water in the humidifier chamber.  However, since then, I have awoken to it being bone dry, and my mouth/nose totally dry. (I have a full face mask).   This morning I woke up about 2 hours early, refilled the water chamber, and went back to sleep.  After I woke up an hour and a half later, all the water was nearly gone I talked to the sleep center office today, and they gave me a new machine, thinking it may be a defective one.  However, I researched tonight, and discovered that this Ambient Tracking Plus adjusts humidity, including adjustments in the event of a leak.    

So I am wondering if anyone else had this same problem?  Should I suspect a leak?  How do I know if leaking is occurring?  My mask is a Resmed mirage Liberty full face mask.
