Post VPAP download - Questions for the group-Thank you.
Hello I just downloaded my latest results from my VPAP.  I am left with the following questions:

1) Any reason for concern?
2) How do I know that my SPO2 (oxygen levels) stay within normal limits?- What are the optimal day and sleeping levels?
3)Is my ventilation rate too high at night?  Looks like I am hyperverntilating in my sleep-toom many breaths?
4) What is the significance of the 95% and Maximum metrics, especially as they relate to the ventilation numbers?
5) Is it a good idea to monitor the SPO2 levels at night in order to detect low and high numbers? Any good products out there that can be used while sleeping for continous monitoring? PC download capabilities?

Thank you very much for your help. I really think that VPAP saved my life. I was relatively young 43 , fit ,and in great shape, when the problems began. It took three years before my sleep study. This forum can save lives, I personnaly believe that a lot of people suffer from sleep apnea without knowing it. All the heart attacks and strokes that can be prevented if a sleep study becomes routine ...

hellas jI have the same machine as you do and here is my data from last night, that appears on the screen on top of the machine
Resp. Rate: 11-22
            AHI 2.8
              AI 0.0
   Avg. Pres. 12.2
              VT 93-951
  Resp. Rate 11-22
             MV 4-12
           Used 3420 hours
                   365/658 days
          Usage 6:46 hours
        Mask fit Excellent

This is about normal for me,  as far as yours O2 Sat goes you have to have a pulse ox to check that I have the Nonin Pulse Ox that connects into the ResLink I have the card and card reader and soft ware but I only down load the card every week to 10 days or so, but I check the data on the screen every morning, But when down loading my card to the computer I get all the detailed data including my O2 Sats and Pulse rate, and you can look at it all right down to the minute by minute as it happened all night long if you want and make up PDF file reports, I do that and send them to my Sleep Doctor! Anyway you can see what my machine is set at on the bottom of my post. I hope this might be of some help to you. Good  Luck  White Beard
