Hello I just downloaded my latest results from my VPAP. I am left with the following questions:
1) Any reason for concern?
2) How do I know that my SPO2 (oxygen levels) stay within normal limits?- What are the optimal day and sleeping levels?
3)Is my ventilation rate too high at night? Looks like I am hyperverntilating in my sleep-toom many breaths?
4) What is the significance of the 95% and Maximum metrics, especially as they relate to the ventilation numbers?
5) Is it a good idea to monitor the SPO2 levels at night in order to detect low and high numbers? Any good products out there that can be used while sleeping for continous monitoring? PC download capabilities?
Thank you very much for your help. I really think that VPAP saved my life. I was relatively young 43 , fit ,and in great shape, when the problems began. It took three years before my sleep study. This forum can save lives, I personnaly believe that a lot of people suffer from sleep apnea without knowing it. All the heart attacks and strokes that can be prevented if a sleep study becomes routine ...
