Post Retarded....
On a lighter side, I was just telling a friend how everyone here in San Diego acted like I was retarded for the last few years.  I don't know if it was an honest observation, whether it was just an effect of moving from the South to California (all Southerners are considered to be retarded in California d'oh! ).  Or, whether it was an honest observation of the effects of sleep apnea.  I haven't noticed any huge change in performance since I've been treated.  I'm just not nearly as tired at the end of the week or sleepy mid-day.  What about anyone else?

when starting my CPAP the improvement was gradual, I eventually realised that I could work hard on one day and not be so fatigued the next, but nothing dramatic happened

after now using CPAP for 5 years, its hard to remember how severely fatigued I often was

I had severe daytime tiredness, seemed always tired, high blood pressure and extreme mood swings. For 10 years I contributed this all to working too hard & thought I just needed to suffer with it as a part of life. I finally sought help, with a little nudge from my wife LOL Laughing I was diagnosed with severe OSA and started on a CPAP machine within a week. I noticed a huge difference after the first week of using the machine. Now after 5 weeks on it I have more energy and my family says I am in better moods then before. I look back and can not beleive how much I was suffering and what I was putting my family through.
