Post First night with new cpap and mask
At long last,  got a new cpap by Invacare called Polaris EX with Soft Xhale and a Comfort Curve by Respironics.  The Polaris is 4.5lbs and as large as a shoe box, but seems to operate well.  Has a humidifier, which I needed in the middle of the night with dry mouth.  The Comfort Curve was easy to adapt  and the same as I used during my titration.  The setting is 10cm with a 20min ramp up.   Overall the first night was excellent and I got about 8 full hours of sleep.  I feel guilty saying I didn't get out of bed until nearly 9am!   Further,  didn't feel tired today as was always normal.   The only negatives were a slightly sore nose,  dry throat since I didn't power up the humidifier until 4am ,  and the cumbersome nature of turning on my side with the mask which would then leak.  I didn't want it too tight.  Otherwise,  I'll report back in a week or so to update all of you.    The first night exceeded my expectations.   Thanks for all your comments regarding your equipment, etc....

glad you did well, it does take time to get used to everything, helps to adjust the mask straps when lying down in bed

Victor, I strongly recommend that you use the humidifier EVERY night.  All that air being shoved up your nose/throat can be very drying.

I, too, used the humidifier intermittently at first, but found that my dryness problems went away almost entirely with the humidifier always on.
