Last night was 1-st. night on cpap, I definitely need humidifier, mouth was dry, nose was irritated. Wife said I still snored some with mask. Is that common?

if you have a nose mask its essential that your mouth stays shut otherwise the CPAP cant work
if still snoring after a week, maybe the pressure setting is too low

Hi,

Realistically you should not be snoring, however and I'm flying a guess here, your pressure might not be high enough.

Don't panic. When you are titrated, and if the pressure required is particularly high, the sleep doc might decide to start you at a lower than required pressure so that you can get used to cpap and gradually increase the pressure over a number of days/weeks.

With all that said, if you are using an auto adjusting machine, the snoring must be for some other reason.

I'd contact the sleep clinic or doc (by phone) and explain the situation.

Daniel
