Hi everyone,
DH is a terrible snorer....actually he is quite good at it.....We are about to make the appt with the sleep institute and I am seeing the CPAP in our near future. We have been married for almost 2 years (he is 37, I am 35) and his snoring has caused me to spend most nights for the past couple of months in the other bedroom. We cannot go to bed at the same time because he is snoring in less than 5 minutes and every little noise he makes is like fingernails down the chalkboard. I find myself trying to go to sleep but the anxiety of the inevitable snoring makes me unable to fall asleep. I am not worried about the white noise that is made by the machine, but I am wondering about the other effects of having DH's face strapped to a machine every night.
Technically we are still newlyweds and I am wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom. I am feeling a little funny putting this right out there to a forum I have never been on before, but if anyone understands where I am coming from, I am thinking it is you.
Thanks for listening.
