Post Mould Skin
Hi everyone,

Has anyone ever heard of this?

The lady at the DME said that she has heard that this works.  I think it is called mould skin or something and you can get it at any pharmacies.  I believe she said that you can use it on pressure points.

Background info:  I changed from the nasal pillows (Swift) because they were bothering my nose to the Respironics Profile mask and I got an infected pressure sore on the bridge of my nose.  The mask was like a dream but ofcourse I can't use it now so I am back to the nasal pillows which I hate.

Anyone heard or used this stuff and what exactly is it?

Thanks!
Wendy

Hi Wendy,

What you're looking for is Moleskin (sometimes spelled Moleskine); it is often used to prevent blisters on your feet.  You should be able to find it in the "foot care" section of a drugstore, by the corn pads.

Good luck -- I hope you get the interface situation worked out.  Keep us posted!

THANKS!

Yes, I read in the other forum that you put it on the mask and NOT your face.  I'll let you all know how it goes.

Wendy
