Post ResMed Spirit (with nose pillows) Problems
Does anyone have any suggestions onthe following:

* My Spirit "moans" when I inhale, but only if I have the humidifier on.
* My Spirit seems to sometimes go out of control and increase the pressure, waking me up by popping my mouth open.  It does this even when I am awake and sitting up, not dropping back down after 15 minutes.
* Sometimes, there is a loud blowing noise at my nose, but not others.
* The ResMed site suggested setting the machine for the mask type... how?  Each mask I've tried has different air escape resistance, which seems like it would affect operation.
* Is tighter or looser better for the nose pillows?  Both seem to work, but occasionally leak and wake me by blowing on my face.

Thanks,

Russell

Many autopaps will increase the pressure if their is water in the feedback line.  Look carefully for condensation. condensation can be blown out, by disconnecting the feedback line from the autopap, and cover the mask end of the hose with the palm of your hand, with the machine running.  The air will force any water in the line out.  It is good to insulate the tube if your bedroom is very cool.
