Here is a link to an interesting article about the drug Mirapex. This drug is commonly prescribed to people with Parkinson's disease. It is prescribed also to people with RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome) or PLMD (Periodic Limb Movement Disorder) at much lower doses. These disorders can be very interruptive to sleep and can often co-occur with Sleep Apnea.

This article indicates that there may be a link between this drug and compulsive behaviors such as gambling, sex, drugs, and others. This is an interesting article for those of you that take this drug for RLS/PLMD. I know that several folks on these SA forums take Mirapex. I thought you might be interested.
